Analysis of Surface Properties of Ag and Ti Ion-Treated Medical Textiles by Metal Vapor Vacuum Arc Ion Implantation

The study focuses on the effects of Ag (silver) and Ti (titanium) ions textiles by MEVVA (metal vapor vacuum arc) ion implantation. In order to comprehend this, research was executed in three parts. first part, antibacterial efficiencies TiO2 were investigated detail since capabilities are well known. A group polyester- cotton-based medical modified ions, with doses ranging from 5 × 1015 1016 ion/cm2. To determine adhesion implanted surfaces, after round tests, these washed 30 times, then tests performed for second time. results also compared nanoparticle-treated textiles. corrosion friction ion-implanted polyester textiles, a dose ion/cm2, investigated. Finally, UV protection experiments showed that even washes, textile had almost 85% efficiency. addition, implantation reduced coefficiency 50% when an untreated textile. Ag-ion-implanted provided factor 30, which is classified as very good protection.
